Wildfire Evacuation Assistance Update

Payments for the wildfire evacuation assistance are being sent out as fast as we can. If you have sent in an email to metiswildfire@wtmetis.ca, or submitted your application via nwtmetisnation.ca/wildfire, please rest assured that your application has been received and your payment will be processed, even though we may not respond to your emails. During the long weekend, business banking services were down for maintenance, causing some unexpected delays.

We have tried calling some members to get their updated information, but the phone numbers we have on file are outdated. If you would like to update the information we have on file for you, please email registries@nwtmetis.ca with your name and updated contact information.

Thank you for your patience, we are currently working with very limited resources and only select staff are able to work remotely.
