Do you know a young Indigenous leader who inspires and motivates others through their work, art, academic achievements or actions? Do they have ideas on how to reduce barriers for Indigenous youth or encourage youth leadership in First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities? Senators want to hear from them!
This year, the Senate Committee on Indigenous Peoples is excited to launch Voices of Youth Indigenous Leaders 2024 to spotlight the strengths of First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities and their inspirational young leaders.
Indigenous youth, aged 18 to 35, are invited to share their leadership experiences and ideas with senators. Some participants will also be invited to attend an official committee meeting in October 2024 to highlight their leadership efforts.
The application period is open until July 21, 2024!
