Suicide Prevention Workshop

Hay River residents are invited to sign up for a Suicide Prevention Workshop from May 22 – 27, hosted at the Hay River Métis Government Council offices at 10 Industrial Drive.

This six-day workshop is coordinated by the Gahcho Kué Mine, with funding support from Imperial Oil, and in partnership with the Hay River Métis Government Council and Neyu Professional Services.

The workshop will run from 10am – 4pm each day, lunch and refreshments will be provided.

This is an opportunity to create understanding and support prevention of suicide in a safe, supportive environment, led by an indigenous-focused organization that is dedicated and passionate about creating change.
